Aparawilintja is the homeland for Ronnie Russell and his extended family. It is a single house with a large solar power unit attached and one hundred young native trees planted around the homeland. There is also a substantial fence surrounding which protects the trees from constant damage caused by camels and donkeys. Adjacent to the homeland is a large of number of Acacia Victoriae which provide revenue through the abundant seeds that they produce.
