Airstrip Story

Mimili airstrip is 1500 meters in length with night landing facilities. The night landing lights consist of 39 lights powered by a 12v solar panel. A pilot will land if 3 are un-operational but not if 4 or more are un-operational. The ESO will check the airport once every 3 days. If a night landing is happening, the pilot will contact the clinic, the clinic will contact the ESO to check the night landing airstrip and equipment and forward the all clear through the clinic to the pilot.
