PY Media Broadband Demand Aggregate Consultancy Project

PYMedia's Broadband Demand Aggregation project, aims to draw together the broadband service needs of Indigenous community members, organisations and enterprises in remote communities across the APY Lands, culminating in the deployment of the last communications mile. The proliferation of information technology throughout remote communities will activate a dynamic web of opportunities for Anangu and their organisations facilitating economies through networking and best practice while maximising service delivery and access to Anangu.

The broadband demand aggregation project will encompass a wide range of community sectors including health, education, tourism, land management/cattle industries, art centres, justice, government agencies and the proposed Rural Transaction Centres (PY Ku Network). It will raise awareness, educate and facilitate a coordinated approach to the development of a strategic plan for a sustainable, affordable and managed broadband service, greatly benefiting all Indigenous community members.

Through the broadband demand aggregation project, PYMedia will pursue the deployment of an efficient and reliable network that will provide the connectivity necessary for future growth of remote communities across the APY Lands.
